A San Diego-based traveler that enjoys both luxury and budget. Always looking for a good deal, but not at the expense of a good time and great experience!
Travel Style
What I like to look for in travel is immersing myself in the culture as much as I can. I spend the time learning about where I am going, whether it is another country, state or simply a city, I try to see what is unique about that place, including looking into different areas of a city to see what the vibe is. Often I simply walk out the door and sit in a café for a while. What is also always a blast is being able to get out into nature. Whether it be hiking, ocean sports or simply going to a national park, being outside is what I enjoy. While I definitely do enjoy indulging in the finer things, I do like to start trips off by looking at boutique hotels that stand out. These types of hotels always have so many stories to tell. If I am traveling out of the country, I do enjoy spending my last couple of days in an upscale space to really recharge before making the flight back home.
