My Story
I'm a dad, foodie and adventurer. I've traveled to over 70 countries — backpacking in remote corners of the world, enjoying luxurious five-star hotels and everything in between.
Travel Style
I love getting the most "bang for your buck" and maximizing my points, miles and cash to unlock incredible luxury experiences for a fraction of the regular price. I love a fine-dining restaurant and a good pool, but I'll also never turn down trying the street food or getting muddy on a hike.

This was our first time working with Greg Ellison. Trying to search for hotels in Greece myself became a challenge when I found out that most islands are closed entirely until May. Recommended through a close friend, Greg stepped in and made sure that we were going to have exactly the trip I imagined for my family. After explaining to him that our focuses were on great hotels, authentic history, and family friendly experiences, he mapped out a trio of hotels in Greece that ended up being one of the most memorable international trips we've ever experienced.
In addition to picking the three hotels, Greg made sure that the trio of cities he chose for us gave us a genuine Greek cultural and historical experience. Each hotel had a note from Greg, some special treats courtesy of the hotel, and we were so happy to see our daughter's roll away bed setup without having to make any requests ourselves. He helped us with private transfers from airports and throughout our stay. He sent emails the day we checked into each place just to make sure we were comfortable.
Even though I told Greg I prefer to book the individual tourist experiences myself, he still guided me to make sure our overall trip was enhanced in any way he could. I can't imagine this experience without Greg, because the location of each hotel and their staffs just made the trip so memorable. We are already in talks with Greg about the next travel ideas! Thank you, Greg!

Greg listens attentively to clients ' preferences and has a true passion for travel. He is patient and takes time to be sure you find the perfect fit for your travel style, interests and budget. We appreciated the personal attention to details and perks of breakfast included when possible and hotel food and beverage credit-- room upgrades when available. Pleasure to work with!

I wouldn’t have known about the hotel that we stayed at without Greg’s recommendation. He was extremely considerate and helpful providing options for our ideal vacation. It was by far one of the best trips I’ve been on! We will definitely book with him again

Greg Ellison is a genius! He really knows his stuff! He suggested The Mandala right off and I wasn't sure so he was happy to give me other suggestions and worked hard to meet all the outsized and competing needs of our small family! In the end we booked his first suggestion, The Mandala. I could have saved a lot of time if I just trusted him right off the bat. But he was more than happy to work through my concerns and in the end I feel good having researched options. He was patient, informative and quick to respond. I can't recommend him highly enough. I found him online by searching the internet (but doing my due diligence before) and really lucked out! I've used him for two international trips (Japan and Germany-Prague) and I won't travel again without consulting Greg! Do yourself a favor and call Greg before you book! He knows how to find the best options of your budget and needs. I'm recommending him to everyone I know! (This is an unbiased rating. We have never met and have not connections outside of having availed myself of his excellent travel services.)

Everything we could ask for in a travel advisor. He sought out our specific interest and goals, and put together a package that was almost perfect. The only thing I might’ve done less of was the high-end shopping. He was very responsive both by email and text. Was very helpful with recommendations around transportation And restaurants and food shops. I would highly recommend him for anyone traveling to Japan, especially for the first time.

The Golden Route of Japan in 10 Days
I traveled to Japan in March 2024 with my family, including my 1-year-old daughter. Japan is one of my favorite countries on earth, due to its striking natural beauty, history and unique culture. Combine this with the efficient transportation infrastructure, cleanliness, service-oriented hospitality and relative strength of the US Dollar against the yen, Japan is one of the most approachable countries in the world to travel to.

The Perfect 7-Day Japan Itinerary
Japan is an ideal destination for first time visitors to Asia due to its captivating blend of tradition and modernity, as well as an efficient transportation infrastructure, low crime and renowned hospitality. Not only that, but the U.S. Dollar’s strength against the Yen makes Japan more affordable than ever.
Japan is a land of contrasts. Its rich cultural heritage, ancient temples and serene gardens somehow blend together seamlessly with its modern architecture and cosmopolitan energy. When you consider its status as one of the best food destinations in the world, there is nowhere else like Japan.
With only 7 days in the country, this itinerary hits all the highlights. You’ll start off in bustling Tokyo, with its incredible atmosphere and opportunities to explore. Next, you’ll take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto, where you’ll experience the old Japanese capital and its stunning beauty as you explore the winding alleyways, temples and nature that make this city so famous. To end the trip, you’ll travel to the mountainous region of Hakone to stay at a Japanese ryokan, which offers the unique experience of relaxing in an in-room onsen (hot spring) and enjoying multi-course kaiseki meals while taking in the stunning natural scenery.
