My Story
L.A based language teacher and "wanna-be" travel consultant, specializing in student life/travel abroad and adult European/Canadian vacations.
Travel Style
Living among the people of a culture is my thing. I love to shop at the local cheese/charcuterie shops, frequent farmer's markets and learn how to cook the region's food. I’m a fan and advocate for getting around a city using local transit (i.e. Velib, scooters or walking). I love to discover new restaurants and pair food with great local wines. I enjoy luxury and also small unique places with charm.

The First-Timer's Guide to Paris
Growing up in Quebec, Canada, I always felt this draw to Europe. I studied European history in college, and the first time I went to Paris, I felt this deep connection. Paris became my second home; I’ve spent more than 20 summers there. Each time I visit, I discover new restaurants, boutiques and hidden gems. In Paris, you can just get lost and lose yourself in the magic of the city (and without worry, because you're never more than five minutes away from the metro).

Quebec City For Families
Quebec City is a great destination for families looking for a fun winter experience. Being there feels like you've been transported to Paris, and there’s also so much winter fun for families. You can go dog sledding, tobogganing, ice skating and more – all just north of the border with the United States. The friendliness of Canadians is a big part of going to Canada. I’d be remiss not to suggest my brother’s tour company, Bon Vivant Educational Tours; he’s the best Quebec resource.

Adventure & Food Guide to San Sebastian Beach in Basque Country
When people want to go to Spain, they typically go to popular areas like Madrid and Andalucia. But if you go to the Basque Country, you see a unique culture that’s just in this one little area. It's a mix of French and Spanish culture, but is its own, distinct culture. You can base yourself in San Sebastian, the food capital of the Basque region, for this trip that covers the best of the surrounding areas.
