My Story
A tech-industry writer based in California with East Coast roots and an insatiable curiosity to explore the world and inspire others to do the same.
Travel Style
From volunteering in South Africa and backpacking across Southeast Asia to now exploring the world with a touch more grandeur (although I still relish the occasional rugged adventure), travel has been ingrained in my DNA for as long as I can remember.
I infuse each trip I design with a blend of adventure and leisure — be it by the beach, amid mountain peaks or within vibrant cityscapes. I always strive to discover hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path places. My bread and butter is crafting itineraries that balance organized excursions with lots of time for impromptu plans or having no plans at all. My trips tend to be budget-savvy with a hint of luxury. I like to spend my travels immersing myself as a local and enjoying great food with my favorite people.

Kelsey was a wonderful travel agent to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area that we were traveling to and was great when it came to budgeting our stays based off of our overall budget for our trip. She really listened and catered to what we wanted out of our honeymoon and provided us with two wonderful Itineraries that we could implement while we were in Positano. All of the information that she provided us with extremely helpful being 2 individuals who had never been to Europe before. Kelsey was really great about communicating throughout the whole planning process and even while we were on our trip, checking in to make sure that we had gotten settled in OK and making sure that we were having a great time. We are so thankful that we got the opportunity to work with Kelsey and we are extremely grateful for all of her hard work that she put into planning us the most perfect honeymoon. Overall, Kelsey is clearly an expert in her field and I have been recommending her to anyone who is traveling abroad.

Kelsey was extremely helpful when booking this hotel for our first leg of our honeymoon. Both of us had never been to Europe before so having her knowledge in her expertise was very comforting when getting to the hotel upon arrival, they offered us an upgrade for our room, which was really great and they also allowed us to check in early. When booking this hotel, Kelsey had a certain amount of options to provide, which made it much more easier and streamlined the planning process. She was great about taking our budget into consideration when planning these hotels and stays in Rome. Overall working with Kelsey booking this hotel was a great experience and I have been recommending her to anybody who’s traveling to Italy or any couples that are going on honeymoon or trips abroad.

Kelsey made planning our honeymoon a dream! She recommended the best hotels and activities during our stay. She also communicated with the hotels that we were on our honeymoon and were treated to many gifts and champagne!

3 Days in Kyoto's Rich Culture: Kyoto, Japan
If you want to immerse yourself in Japan's rich history and beauty, the city of Kyoto is for you. Kyoto holds a special place in my heart for its seamless blend of ancient tradition and natural beauty. Walking through the Fushimi Inari Shrine at sunrise offers a serene start to the day, with the thousands of red torii gates creating a mystical atmosphere. Exploring historical sites like Nijo-jo Castle and Kiyomizu-dera Temple provides a deep connection to Japan’s rich cultural heritage. At the same time, the vibrant Gion district immerses you in the timeless elegance of geisha culture. Ending the day with sunset drinks at Hotel Seiry Kyoto Kiyomizu, overlooking the city, perfectly encapsulates the serene and enchanting essence of Kyoto.
