Travel Style
I consider life a journey and choose to enrich mine through travel, discovering new cultures, landscapes and cuisines. Meeting new people and learning about different ways of living brings me joy, highlights the vastness of the world and educates me in a way that nothing else can. Never a fan of the routine or the mundane, getting away is my opportunity to embrace a new perspective and savor the adventure that lies ahead. While traveling, I love uncovering boutique properties, hidden gems and neighborhood restaurants, all while getting to know the locals and immersing myself in their culture. I adore traveling with my family and also cherish alone time with my husband. Some days you can find me feasting at a Michelin-starred restaurant; on others, a hole-in-the-wall with amazing food. Whether it's relaxing beach time, a rigorous five-mile hike in the mountains, or a zipline through the jungles of Central America, I try to be creative in my itinerary design, including equal amounts of relaxation and adventure. Let this passionate planner help you craft your next amazing journey, filled with exciting memories and unforgettable moments.

Laurie was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend her! I had already started to plan and she was happy to do as little or as much as I needed. She steered me to great activities. I was especially pleased with the final itinerary in the app that included all of the bookings (the ones I made AND the one the ones that she made), including all of our tickets and QR codes. She definitely took our trip to Paris to the next level!

We recently returned from a transatlantic cruise to Portugal, followed by a week of exploring the country—and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly, all thanks to Laurie’s incredible planning. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and her expertise truly made a difference.
From the cruise to the land tours, everything was seamless and stress-free. We felt well taken care of the entire time and were able to just relax and enjoy the experience.
Thank you, Laurie, for helping make this trip so special. We’re already looking forward to planning our next adventure with you!

Laurie picked the perfect proprty for us to stay for our first time in the Tuscany region. She demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the Tuscany and Florence region, providing valuable insights into different areas and their unique characteristics. It was the perfect base for exploring the Tuscan countryside and immersing ourselves in the local culture. It also was perfectly located to explore Florence during the day yet still be able to return to the resort to relax in the evenings.
Laurie's professionalism, personalized service, and attention to detail are truly exceptional.

Laurie Harris was amazing. She listened carefully to our needs and set to work immediately to find the perfect fit for us. We could not have been happier with the way she responded to our requests and questions, and we could not have been given better service. When travel arrangements are called for in the future, I will definitely contact Laurie. From first contact with Laurie to the end of our stay it was an A+ experience all around.

Although we did not ask Laurie to do a lot for us, she was SO responsive to my emails and my needs. She went above and beyond in making sure we had what we needed and in organizing our itinerary. She also sent reminders to us and even double checked pricing on a hotel reservation to see if any better rates were available when I saw some promotion advertised. Highly recommend her for her professionalism, care, and willingness to go above and beyond.

Thailand: From Temples to Beaches: A Two Week Family Adventure
Having recently spent two weeks in this far-flung region, Thailand was a magical experience for the whole family. With children in both high school and college, I would recommend this itinerary primarily for families with older children, as it requires a fair amount of stamina. On this trip, we learned many things about Buddhist culture — meeting monks and touring temples. We quickly developed an appreciation for the artists who have created these stunning structures over the years. We gained a sense of the importance of these spiritual centers and their integral role in Thai culture. Skyscrapers merge with majestic golden temples on the skyline, where sunsets take on an entirely new meaning, and the rivers sparkle as the sun sets. It is magical! The contrast between the bustling cities, the excitement of Muay Thai fights (more on that later), and the peaceful, isolated national parks and busy beaches is striking. This diverse country offers everything for an adventurous, active trip, from rich cultural experiences to mouthwatering food. We experienced everything, from wild animal encounters to glistening shorelines.

Exploring the Rainforest and Reefs in Belize
Belize is a charming island destination, with friendly locals and great adventures around every corner. It is such a diverse country, that you could spend days exploring areas outside the beach towns most people think of when they think of Belize. My experience there was outstanding. I had the opportunity to visit the interior of the country in San Ignacio, where you can explore local ruins on horseback, and the tranquil beach town of Placencia, where you can discover the Monkey River and nearby islands. They were equally as beautiful in different ways, and the experience was made whole by exploring both on the same trip. In general, Belize is less developed than its surrounding countries, such as Costa Rica. This lends to its charm and makes for a very rugged, beautiful countryside. The locals are always ready to tell you their story and many ex-pats move to the beaches there as well, for good reason.

Exploring Greece: Athens, Crete, and Santorini
Greece is an amazing location to travel to if you want to see it all! History, culture, and beaches abound. It's ripe with incredible sites and locals who are happy to teach you all about their history and way of life. Diverse in its landscape, you can be investigating historical sites in Athens one day, and resting on the beautiful rocky beaches of Elounda the next. Simple to travel between Islands, you can easily plan a 10-day trip and see multiple locations, having time to explore each in-depth. And, don't even get me started on the food...

From Scottsdale to Vegas: A Family Adventure
The Southwest is an amazing area of the US to visit, with gorgeous hikes, beautiful vistas, stunning red rock and Native American history. Our family adventure started in Arizona and ended with the bright lights of Las Vegas and included tons of fun for the kids and lots to see for us active adults! This vacation does require a certain amount of stamina, so you'll need to be ok with getting your steps in for the week.

New England Family Road Trip
The northern East Coast is beautiful in any season. You can take advantage of the Atlantic in the summer, skiing in the winter and the beauty of the changing seasons in the fall and springtime. This road trip begins in Maryland and travels north through Rhode Island, Maine and Massachusetts. Great for any family, this trip allows you to enjoy the outdoors, sample great food and enjoy quintessential New England in all its beauty. Although this particular guide is family-friendly, this itinerary could easily be tweaked and used for a romantic road trip as well.
