My Story
Eternal globe-trotter who reluctantly ditched Florida's endless summers for the Northeast's four seasons. When I'm not oohing and aahing over the fall foliage, I'm always planning my next travel adventure.
Travel Style
My travel itinerary is an eclectic mix of adventure and luxury—and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I relish the thrill of hiking the Appalachian Trail, biking through the Rockies, and conquering the Zugspitze on skis, but when the day’s adventures are done, give me the comfort of crisp white hotel sheets, a hot tub, and a glass of wine every time! Major tourist attractions with their history and intrigue captivate me, but I’m equally drawn to the road less-traveled, immersing myself in local culture and food. Indulging in delectable dining is my love language, so I’m always on the hunt for locally owned food gems to savor authentic flavors and local wines. The trip that launched my travel career was planning the most unforgettable two-week Alaskan honeymoon for the cutest couple. Traveling is my art, and every journey is a masterpiece waiting to happen.

We had the pleasure of working with Michelle Yaddaw at Fora Travel for our four-day getaway to McMinnville, OR, and we couldn't be more impressed. Michelle went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless and memorable. She successfully arranged an exception to the Atticus Hotel's one-dog-per-room policy so we could bring our two small Chihuahuas. She even coordinated an early check-in for us. Upon arrival, we were delighted to be greeted by name—our dogs included! To top it off, a thoughtful thank-you gift of sparkling wine awaited us in our room. Michelle's meticulous planning extended to our wine tastings, focusing on small boutique wineries as we had requested. Each winery was unique and offered outstanding experiences—we were so thrilled that we joined two wine clubs! Michelle even helped us book a return visit to relive the magic. The Atticus Hotel itself was stunning, with exceptional customer service and an incredible on-site gourmet restaurant. Additionally, Michelle recommended and reserved three wonderful restaurants for us, each one a perfect fit for our tastes. Her dedication to organizing every detail of our excursions was worth every bit of her planning fee.

Working with Michelle was a fantastic experience. We wanted to plan a Christmas cruise for our whole family, including our daughter and son-in-law, and their three kids, and Michelle made it completely stress-free. She found the perfect Royal Caribbean cruise for us and even secured two staterooms right next to each other and researched what the noise level was in that part of the ship. She thought of every detail and checked in with us before we sailed to make sure everything was set. Her help made the planning process easy, and we felt totally prepared. I highly recommend her!

Our travel advisor was awesome. She was detailed, friendly, and considerate of our family and needs. She was quick to answer questions, honest about rates for the trip, and ensured that we had details of the area so we could do all the DC touristy things. Michelle found us the perfect location for our trip! We had a wonderful time without the worries of picking the right place to stay! She found us a great spot

We recently returned from a European trip planned by Michelle, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. She took care of every detail, making our experience seamless and worry-free. Because we booked through her, one of our hotel rooms included an upgraded view, $100 resort credit, and a lovely gift from the hotel. The itinerary Michelle created struck the ideal balance between guided tours, independent site-seeing, and relaxing downtime, allowing us to truly enjoy each destination without feeling rushed. Her insider tips on exchanging Euros, navigating the train system, and her fantastic restaurant recommendations were invaluable. From the beautiful streets of Nice to the charming Italian towns of Ventimiglia, Rapallo and Portofino, and even our unforgettable day in Monaco, every moment was carefully curated. Thanks to Michelle, we were able to focus solely on enjoying our trip, and we can't wait to plan our next adventure with her!

A Runner's Travel Guide to the Boston Marathon
During a recent visit to Boston, I couldn't help but notice groups and individual runners braving the cold temperatures, navigating the bustling streets of the capital city, undoubtedly preparing for the upcoming Boston Marathon. As a runner who has had many friends compete in the Boston Marathon, I wanted to share some insider tips and recommendations on some of the best places to stay, where to dine, and what activities to do during your visit. If you're eyeing qualification for next year's race or have already clinched your spot, be sure to promptly secure your hotel reservations—availability disappears almost as fast as it takes a marathon finisher to sign up for their next race.
