My Story
A New Yorker at heart. As any true New Yorker knows, you need to get away often to really appreciate the city. I have a home in the Catskills and fly to Miami and internationally often.
Travel Style
I’m all about the personality of a space, and I prefer a mix of boutique hotels and homes over the more commercialized brands. I travel to see something new and always look for non-chain restaurants and things that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else.

Michelle was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. She shared a lot of great options around Amalfi and neighboring areas, including activities like day trip to Pompeii, boat rentals, etc. It was a pleasure working with her and would definitely come back for her expertise on my next big trip!

Michelle Zelena was incredible to work with. She asked smart questions at the beginning of our planning and she had bright, exciting and informed recommendations - both for our stay in Hilton Head and our brief stay in Savannah. She also managed to enhance our stays in both locations with personal touches and surprises that made us feel very special and welcome. Her role as "matchmaker" between us and the properties we selected was a win-win for us and the venues. We are all very fortunate to have worked with Michelle.

Charleston & Coastal Bliss: My Kind of Long Weekend
You know I love a trip that mixes chill vibes with city exploring, right? Charleston is perfect for that. Seriously, gorgeous nature is a quick hop away (45 minutes or less!), with places like Kiawah calling your name. The vibe: Historical charm meets relaxation. That's Charleston magic.

See & Be Seen in Miami, Florida
Miami is a rite of passage as an immigrant destination stateside and one that happens to be an incredibly fun culture and art center. It’s also a destination where one travels to be in the spotlight, to hop from one famous location to another and enjoy life in the view. Here’s how to do Miami right!

Good-For-All Romantic Guide to Barcelona
Barcelona is the first place I've ever been to in Spain. I went with my husband for our one-year anniversary in April and was so pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the city is. There was really an endless number of things to do, from museums to restaurants to beaches and more that we can keep coming back and cover things we didn't get to see in our initial one-week trip. We did a mix of the things you know about like Sagrada Familia and then less known activities like off the beaten path coffee shops where only locals go and Soho Beach House just outside of Barcelona. We loved this mix off touristy and less touristy things for our trip and I'm sure you will too!

Weekend Guide to Upstate New York
Upstate New York has something fun to do during any season. Whether you want to ski, go apple picking, watch spring blossoms or splash around a lake, the region is great year-round. You can get cozy and do nothing, or you can explore the endless artisanal shops, vintage curations and amazing cuisines from expat New York City chefs. With its vast amount of wineries, adventures and activities available, you will never get tired of upstate.

A New Yorkers Guide To New Mexico
If you like hiking, art, good Mexican food, a little adventure and great energy this is the place for you. I went with my husband for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved this place, we are not huge beach people and like to be active, there was so much to do but also plenty of ways to relax.

All-Season, Weekend Getaway Guide to Rome, Italy for Food, Art and Culture
I had my babymoon in Rome, the perfect spot for food, art, culture and getting your steps in. In four days, you can cover almost every major neighborhood in Rome – if you are an active traveler. Enjoy beautiful streets, plazas, the most historical art you've ever laid your eyes on and, most importantly, pizza, pasta and gelato. One can simply never get enough! It's amazing to go in the off-season as it is less crowded and just as beautiful.
