Nadia was very organized, timely, kind and spot-on with the hotel recommendation. We even found a thoughtful 25th anniversary card from her in our room! I’m not sure I’ve ever had a travel agent be so contagiously enthusiastic about my trip before — somehow I became even more excited about our trip every time I spoke with her!

We recently returned from an incredible trip around the world which included an 8-day journey through India, expertly planned by Nadia Schwartz at Fora Travel and their outstanding local Indian travel partner Travel Scope. From start to finish, their attention to detail, responsiveness, and sensitivity to our interests made planning and taking this trip an absolute pleasure.
Our itinerary took us through Jaipur, Ranthambore (where we had the unforgettable experience of spotting tigers in the wild!), Agra, and Delhi. Every aspect of the trip was arranged perfectly to suit us. From the moment we exited the jetway to them escorting to our departure gate, Travelscope was helpful. We had outstanding accommodations at Oberoi Hotels and a well-planned itinerary. We were able to visit beautiful sites like the Taj Mahal at dawn but also do some unique activities including visiting an Elephant rescue site, meeting local entrepreneurs, and understanding the generosity of the Sikhs who volunteer to feed huge numbers of hungry people every day. The best part was our Travel Scope guide Rohit who adapted as plans changed, gave us great insights into the local culture, and shared stories and history with us. Our Travel Scope transportation was outstanding and in a country that only loosely obeys traffic regulations, the Travel scope driver and Rohit helped us navigate through every condition and crowd imaginable. We always felt well taken care of.
What truly set this travel company apart was their dedication to ensuring our experience was personalized and stress-free. They went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences, making thoughtful adjustments whenever needed. Their local expertise and warm hospitality made us feel welcome every step of the way.
If you're considering a trip to anywhere, I highly recommend Nadia Schwartz with Fora Travel; she has excellent partners around the world. If you are heading to India and want an itinerary that is both well-planned and flexible to your needs, we highly recommend Nadia to connect you with Travelscope. This was a trip of a lifetime, and we appreciated their exceptional service!

Biking Vermont to Montreal
In October of 2022, my husband and I cycled from Northeast Vermont to the Province of Quebec. While taking in the beautiful fall colors of the region, we rode through quaint towns, river valleys, charming rural neighborhoods and along serene roads with beautiful views. We spent two nights at Manoir Havoy in North Hatley Canada, where the colors and lake side views were unforgettable.

My Trip to New Orleans in Early November
Nestled between Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi River, Crescent City is thriving. Its neighborhoods are humming with a spirit that is unique to this beautiful city. Being there in early November is inviting. The crowds are manageable and the weather is ideal as it's not too hot and very little precipitation. The lack of crowds creates a welcoming environment for visitors and allows one to connect with locals better.

Insiders Guide to Truckee, California
Truckee is a beautiful small town located in the Sierras with countless outdoor recreational activities available to everyone. If you love skiing, hiking, biking, tennis or just enjoying scenic beauty, it might be the place for you. At 6000 feet a little town nestled within the Sierra Nevada mountain range, has been our family summer home for the past 15 years.
Truckee’s own Donner Lake is both beautiful and accessible. Lake Tahoe is only 15 miles away. The town's small-town charm, and its location in the Sierra Nevada make it a perfect year round destination.
