As a San Diego native, visiting Mexico was only a short drive away, and we went often! I've been to nearly all top U.S. destinations and at 19, I studied abroad in England where I explored Scotland and Ireland, Amsterdam and France. It was cold though, so I spent my Spring Break in Italy. In 2001, I moved to Spain to teach English for two years, splitting the time between Barcelona and the Canary Islands. In 2019, I travelled to the fascinating country of Cuba. Since then, I have focused on Italy. I have spent a total of 9 weeks there travelling extensively with a majority of time in Sicily, where my heart lives! I cannot wait to tell you how amazing Sicily is- truly, the best part of Italy! In between Italian adventures, and when time allows, I return to my first love, Mexico, where I explore gourmet and boutique hotels, the food scene, rainforests and of course, the beautiful beaches!
