Curator’s statement
The Treasure is Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, and it takes the magic to a whole new level with immersive theming, stunning design, and storytelling woven into every corner. From Broadway-caliber shows to dining experiences that are part meal, part entertainment, it’s a place where both kids and grown-ups feel fully enchanted. Disney cruises will always be special to us, because they were our first and the reason we fell in love with cruising. It's still the cruise line that gets everything right for families with young kids, especially the unmatched kids’ clubs that make you wish you were a kid again.

Things to do

The Royal Gathering is the perfect opportunity to meet several princesses at once.
Kids & teens spaces
Disney’s Oceaneer Club (ages 3–10 and fully toilet-trained): A fully immersive space where kids can explore themed areas like Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Marvel Super Hero Academy, and Fairytale Hall. It's a place where young adventurers can engage in interactive storytelling and hands-on activities. Kids aged 3–4 will remain together as a group with dedicated staff.
Edge (ages 11–14): A trendy hangout spot for tweens, featuring high-tech games, music, and space to socialize. It’s designed to give them a sense of independence while still being supervised.
Vibe (ages 14–17): A stylish lounge for teens to relax, watch movies, play games, and meet new friends. It offers a laid-back environment tailored to teenage guests.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: A magical salon where kids can transform into royalty or swashbucklers with full makeovers, costumes, and pixie dust. Appointments book fast—plan ahead!
Entertainment & activities
AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg: Part waterslide, part animated adventure, this water attraction tells an original Mickey and Minnie story as you twist, turn, and splash through a thrilling ride above the ship.
Family pools & water play: Ten pools of varying depths occupy tiered decks offering plenty of space to swim, splash, and lounge. Head to Toy Story Splash Zone, a water play area for toddlers and younger kids, featuring your favorite Toy Story characters. Slide-a-saurus Rex is a family-friendly water slide for guests 38 inches and above.
Funnel Vision & poolside movies: Watch classic Disney and Pixar films under the stars on a giant screen above the pool. Grab some popcorn and a towel, snag a lounger, and don’t forget the unlimited soft-serve just steps away at Minnie’s Delights.
Quiet Cove: An 18+ retreat with an infinity pool, loungers, hot tub, bar, and the cozy Cove Café. A peaceful escape from the buzz of the family zones.
Senses Spa & Rainforest Room: Full-service spa and wellness center offering a variety of massages, facials, and other body treatments. For true relaxation, head to the Rainforest Room, where you’ll find heated loungers, aromatherapy showers, steam rooms, hot tubs, daybeds, and an invigorating cold therapy room experience.
Walt Disney Theatre: Catch Broadway-caliber live performances, including The Tale of Moana, debuting exclusively on the Treasure. Other shows include Beauty & the Beast and Seas the Adventure.
Wonderland Cinema: A whimsical onboard movie theater themed after Alice in Wonderland, showing first-run Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars films in full cinematic glory. If you’re lucky, you may get to catch new movies before they début on land. On our sailing, we saw Thunderbolts the day before it was released.
Hero Zone: Join family-friendly competitions, physical challenges, obstacle course, and free play with a superhero twist. Features cornhole, foosball, table tennis, air hockey, and a sports court.
Sarabi: This Lion King–inspired, two-deck entertainment space hosts everything from family trivia and interactive games to late-night comedy and adult events.
Triton Lounge: A relaxed-yet-stylish space, Triton Lounge hosts everything from family game shows and karaoke to adult-only trivia and live entertainment.
Live character encounters: From princesses to Marvel superheroes, you’ll stumble upon your favorite characters throughout the ship or at scheduled meeting times. They even pop into the kids clubs and restaurants on occasion. Make sure you reserve a spot for the Royal Gathering to meet several princesses at the same time.
Interactive games & activities: Scavenger hunts, bingo, animation classes, and more are scheduled throughout the day for every age group. There’s always something to do.
Pirate night: A fan-favorite themed evening where the whole ship gets into character with pirate-themed menus, entertainment, costumes, and the grand finale: fireworks at sea. Don’t forget your bandana, or go full Jack Sparrow for this fun evening.
Formal night: One evening during your cruise, everyone gets a little fancy—and the atmosphere totally transforms. Guests dress to the nines (or go full Disney glam), characters show up in elegant formalwear, and photographers are everywhere to capture the moment. It’s the perfect night for a special dinner, a family photo, complimentary drinks in the Grand Hall, and soaking in the extra sparkle around the ship. Not required, but definitely worth joining in on.
Untangled Salon & Hook’s Barbery: These upscale salons are more than just a trim and polish—they’re themed experiences. Untangled Salon, inspired by Tangled, offers hair styling, cuts, and nail services for women in a chic, elegant space. Hook’s Barbery is a stylish men’s grooming lounge with classic barbershop vibes—think beard trims, cuts, and even a hidden bourbon bar for a little extra unwind time. Perfect for getting cruise-ready or cleaned up for formal night.
Magical photo moments: From character meet-and-greets to the splendor of the Grand Hall, the Disney Treasure is full of picture-perfect opportunities. Throughout your cruise, you’ll find professional photo backdrops—some with magical additions added afterward, like pixie dust, fireworks, or favorite characters appearing in your final shot. Onboard photographers are ready during dinners, Pirate Night, and key events to help you capture memories without the stress.
Places to eat & drink

Enchante is a stunning restaurant with a delectable menu.
Dining experiences
Rotational dining (included in your cruise package)
1923: Named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, this split dining room pays homage to Disney’s animation legacy with Californian cuisine in a classy setting.
Worlds of Marvel: A cinematic interactive dinner adventure where Marvel characters drop in for a high-energy, globally inspired meal experience.
Plaza de Coco: The first Coco-themed restaurant at sea features festive live entertainment and family-style Mexican cuisine rooted in tradition. My favorite meal of the rotational dining venues was the chicken mole served here. Coco is one of my favorite Disney-Pixar films, and they really nailed it with this dining experience. The theming and entertainment are incredible.
Quick-service dining (included in your cruise package)
Marceline Market: A food hall–style venue inspired by Walt Disney’s hometown, with a mix of international flavors for breakfast and lunch. Mickey churro waffles, anyone? Unfortunately, it is not open for dinner.
Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods: Five casual, themed food stands (BBQ, tacos, pizza, burgers, and ice cream) on the pool deck—ideal for a fast, kid-friendly bite between adventures. The BBQ was my favorite of these options. And the soft-serve ice cream? Couldn’t get enough. Chocolate, vanilla, and swirl are always available, as well as a third flavor that changes daily. We saw strawberry, mango, banana, and blueberry. Yum!
Specialty dining (not included & adults-only – reservations required)
Palo Steakhouse: An upscale twist on the classic Palo experience, offering premium steaks and Northern Italian fare in an elegant setting with ocean views.
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement: A luxurious Lumiere-themed French fine dining experience by a Michelin-starred chef, perfect for special occasions and romantic evenings. This was by far my favorite meal on the cruise, for obvious reasons. Oh-so-delicious and totally worth the splurge.
Coffee shops & cafes
Jade Cricket Café: Serving specialty teas and coffees in a serene environment.
HeiHei Café: A nod to the comical feathered sidekick of Moana, this tropical-themed spot offers a variety of coffee beverages and light snacks.
Cove Café: An adults-only retreat for premium coffee drinks and pastries.
Wheezy’s Freezies: A fun spot for frozen treats and smoothies, perfect for cooling down.
Jumbeaux’s Sweets: Inspired by Zootopia, this bright and whimsical sweet shop serves up over-the-top milkshakes, candy by the scoop, handcrafted gelato, and themed desserts that are as photogenic as they are delicious.
Bars & lounges
Haunted Mansion Parlor: A spooky, immersive lounge inspired by the classic attraction, featuring themed cocktails and eerie ambiance. My kids loved it here. If you prefer fewer (or no) kids, check this spot out later in the evening. It’s definitely worth a visit for the effects alone.
Skipper Society: A Jungle Cruise-themed bar offering exotic drinks, adventurous décor, and live music.
Scat Cat Lounge: A jazzy venue inspired by The Aristocats, perfect for live music and elegant cocktails.
Periscope Pub: A nautical-themed pub inspired by 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, offering a selection of beers and pub fare.
The Rose: An upscale lounge with panoramic views, ideal for pre-dinner drinks.
Currents Bar: A poolside bar serving refreshing beverages with ocean views.

Tips & recommendations
If you have Facebook, be sure to join the group for your sailing. Search by ship name and sailing date (i.e. Disney Treasure April 26, 2025). It’s a nice way to meet some of the people you will be sailing with, share tips, ask questions, etc. This was how we managed to snag our lunch reservation at Enchante.
For a little extra Disney magic, ask your stateroom attendant to put in a request for character bedding. We were able to get Frozen- and Cars-themed bedding for our kids.
If your budget allows, opt for a verandah stateroom. There’s nothing better than starting your day with a quiet room-service breakfast (at no extra cost) on your private balcony. Just hang the breakfast card on your door the night before and enjoy some peace before the ship comes to life.
While Disney doesn't offer unlimited drink packages like some other cruise lines, you can pre-purchase wine, beer, and bottled water through the Onboard Gifts section of the app or website before your cruise. These will be delivered to your stateroom on embarkation day. You’re also allowed to bring on board up to one six-pack of beer (12 oz max) or two bottles of wine or champagne (750 ml max) per adult (21+), both at embarkation and when returning from ports. Just be sure to pack those items in your carry-on bag.
If you have Disney gift cards you’d like to use for purchases on the ship, you can apply them toward onboard credit before you sail. Just head to the Onboard Gifts section of the website or app and use your gift cards to purchase onboard credit, which will be added to your account and available for use once you're on the ship. This saves you from waiting in line at Guest Services on embarkation day, and helps you start relaxing sooner. Just be sure to keep the gift card numbers in case there’s a leftover balance to refund after your trip.
Consider including a day or two at Disney or Universal before or after your cruise. We went to Universal for two days prior to boarding the ship and had a great time.
Relax and enjoy yourself.
