Susafa
Polizzi Generosa, Sicily, ItalySet amid central Sicily's rolling hills and grain fields, Susafa is a 200-year-old farmhouse transformed into an eco-conscious retreat by the Saeli-Rizzuto family, stewards of the land for five generations.
Rooms and suites
Susafa offers 18 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites that reflect its rich history and commitment to sustainability. Guest rooms feature Sicilian chestnut-beamed ceilings, handmade terracotta tiles, memory foam mattresses, and natural local fragrances. To promote relaxation and reduce energy consumption, the rooms intentionally lack TVs and minibars.
Accommodations range from romantic Classic Double rooms—once the farm's birthing stable—with king beds and garden views, to Junior Suites with loft layouts or private terraces, housed in former dwellings of the dairy craftsman and winemaker. The Deluxe Suite, set in the farm's former armory, features a spacious bathroom with a sauna, walk-in shower, and bathtub.
