* Commission levels differ by travel partner, typically ranging from 10-25% and averaging ~12%. Most of that commission (70%) goes straight to you, the advisor. The remainder supports Fora's behind-the-scenes work invoicing partners and chasing commission checks to ultimately ensure timely payment to our advisors.
Built for independence
By default all Fora Advisors operate as independent contractors (1099), giving you maximum flexibility in how you structure and run your business:
No LLC required: Start booking travel immediately without forming a business entity. You can set up an LLC as your business grows if you'd like.
Brand freedom: Create your own travel business identity under the Fora umbrella
Schedule autonomy: Set your own hours and work style, even as a full-time advisor
Our structure gives you the freedom to build a business that reflects your goals, with the backing of our platform, community, and industry connections.

Full-Time
No way. Our team handles all the invoicing and commission tracking for you. You get paid automatically when the supplier pays us.
Right away! Once you’ve signed up and joined an onboarding call, you will be set up with our IATA number and can start selling ASAP. No need to wait.
You’ll have support every step of the way—with our expert support team available by email during business hours, Sidekick (our 24/7 AI chatbot), and a global advisor community always online and ready to help.
You should obtain your own E&O policy if you operate your business through an LLC or under a separate brand (i.e., you do not maintain a close affiliation with Fora).
If you are booking more than $500,000 in revenue per year, you must secure a personal E&O policy. It is also strongly recommended to secure a personal E&O policy if you have significant annual bookings or book lots of non-refundable travel products such as air or high-value tours. The deductible for an individual agent is much lower than Fora’s policy.
You can operate as a 1099 contractor through Fora. Some advisors choose to form an LLC — it's entirely up to you and you can add an LLC at any point.
As an independent contractor, you’re responsible for your own taxes. We provide resources needed to file, but recommend consulting a tax professional.
